Alix Hudson
Alix Hudson is a World History graduate student at Northeastern. Her research interests include reproductive health and justice, sexism and media, eugenics, and feminist activism. Hudson received her undergraduate MA with Honours at the University of Edinburgh in 2022, where her thesis research covered European eugenics and the development of Nazi reproductive policy in the early 1930s. After graduating, she worked for three years as a digital officer for the Scottish Labour Party, where she was part of a team delivering digital and social media content production. Her work included digital campaigns for three major elections, including the 2024 General Election. During her time in Scotland, she also worked on a grassroots student campaign to protect patients accessing abortion care facilities, the bill for which was successfully passed into law in 2024. At Northeastern, Hudson is interested in feminist history and expanding her archival research experience.
